Can I stop crypto exchange hackers?
Asked 4 years ago
Hi there. I had a bad experience last year, where an exchange got hacked and I lost out on quite a bit. How can I ensure this doesn't happen again?

The best way to store your funds to protect you from hackers is to use an external hardware wallet or cold storage device that allows you to store funds securely. Leaving your funds on an exchange exposes you to hackers who are always on the look for loopholes in the codes of these exchanges. A hardware wallet lets you access your funds whenever you want and it can store as much cryptocurrency as you wish to hold forever. You can use any of the hardware wallets which are like flash drives or car keys. You will be securely preserved free from hackers. Also consider volatility and how long you are willing to hold those asset before putting money in your hardware wallet.
