Asked 3 years ago

Hi guys, I want to check my decentralized P2p transaction in history. How do I do this?

It is easy to view transaction history on centralized exchanges and platforms because these platform store your data and sometimes require KYC to comply with AML regulations in their operating jurisdiction. You can track transactions back to the first you ever executed on these platforms in the "orders" or "order history " section of the website. Doing the same on decentralized platforms requires an entirely different process because they do not store your data.

To view your transaction history on a decentralized platform you first need to know the blockchain the DeFi protocol is on. Knowing the blockchain will help you navigate to the right place where you shall find the information you need. Block explorers are able to trace and show all transactions on your wallet. The thing is, you can see all your transactions but aside from knowing who you have sent funds to and from where you have received funds, block explorers do nothing more. The following are block explorers for the most popular blockchains:

Bitcoin: https://www.blockchain.com/explorer

Ethereum: https://etherscan.io/

Tron: https://tronscan.org/

Binance Chain: https://www.bscscan.com/

Solana: https://solscan.io/

Cardano: https://cardanoscan.io/

Cosmos: https://www.mintscan.io/cosmos

Inputting your wallet address in the search bar on these websites and clicking on the search button will show you all transactions on your wallet.
