How was your trading experience with TradFi vs. DeFi?

I prefer DeFi to TredFi anytime because of the potential it holds. Driven by its growth in market capitalization and transaction volume, DeFi has taken center stage at the global TradFi. DeFi’s permissionless, traceable, and trustless model has claimed a pie of TradFi’s monopoly on finance, making it easily accessible and cost-effective for everyone. 2021 went down as the year the sleeping DeFi lion awoke, and this year: prepare to experience the great decentralized products exploding.

Both DeFi and TradFi have shortcomings. The advantages of one are often the disadvantage of the other. Although DeFi is still better because you can trade anytime, and there are fewer barriers to entry and market manipulation. DeFi also offers asset classes that are not available on TradFi. I know someone will be quick to say there is no forex on DeFi, but this is coming with CBDC in the near future. DeFi is also free from a lot of the unfair practices in TradFi that make markets unfavorable to retail traders. These activities include naked shorting, frontrunning, high-frequency trading, dark pools, synthetic shares, and order spoofing.
