Hello, I have set up an account with PancakeSwap, and I want to set up the KYC verification for extra security. However, I can't seem to find my KYC ID?

Decentralized exchanges do not require KYC. Well the project can do KYC to win the support of the now careful investors in DeFi but that is only for the fonders and helps makes the intention of the project clear. If you have strated using the DEX, well, congratulations! You do not need to do any KYC. If you want to keep your crypto safe, you can connect and send your funds to a cold storage wallet like Ledger, Trexor or Exodus.

PancakeSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). It uses an automated marker mechanism (AMM) to enable coin swaps. Other than token swaps, PancakeSwap offers liquidity mining, staking, perpetual trading, lottery, Launchpad, and NFT marketplace.
Since PancakeSwap is a DEX platform, it doesn’t require any KYC verification. You simply connect your web3 wallet like MetaMask to start using PancakeSwap products and services. Furthermore, it’s an open-source platform, meaning anyone can access it.
So, kindly confirm whether you visited the real PancakeSwap or a phishing site to avoid revealing your personal information to hackers.
