How much Ethereum should I stake to become a validator?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi, I want to take part in proof-of-stake and be a validator for a DeFi trading platform. Is there a minimum Ethereum I should stake I have to put in to become a validator directly on the L1/L2 network?

With the new Ethereum merge, the bar is set quite high to become a validator - 32 ETH. Still, this doesn't mean that you can't help validate the protocol with less Ethereum. You can go to a decentralized protocol, stake your ETH (even if it's a small amount) and earn passively by validating transaction through the pool.
