Which is the more profitable strategy: yield farming or staking?
Asked 4 years ago
I'm new to investing in cryptocurrency, and I've been researching different trading/investment strategies. I want to try and build a passive income. I'm not sure if it would be safer for a beginner trader to try yield farming or staking. Which is most profitable with the least risk?

Yield farming is usually more profitable than staking, but it's also a bit unreliable. It's widely regarded as a less safe option than staking, considering that many liquidity pools have had breaches in the past. Staking is better for the long-term, as it's true passive income and incredibly beginner-friendly.
If you're a beginner or you're investing for the long-term, I'd highly recommend going with staking. Yield farming is better for investors who want short-term gains and can tolerate more risk.
