DeFi is attractive because it offers exciting yield options compared to traditional finance (TradFi). However, this also comes with increased risks and a certain knowledge barrier for newbies.

For DeFi to go mainstream, it has to become easy to use, mobile, and less risky. This may involve regulation of some kind, technology improvements, and the evolution of the DeFi space with a focus on improving accessibility and user experience.

Many big players in traditional finance already recognize the potential of DeFi. If new protocols can create bridges for these TradFi players to enter the DeFi market, the utility of DeFi could explode tremendously, bringing it to the mainstream.
