Will I still be liable for the network fee on a congested DeFi network?
Asked 4 years ago
Yesterday I tried to stake VVS but the DeFi network was so congested that I waited for ages for something to happen and nothing ever did. Will I still be liable for the network fee?

DeFi congestion happens when the demand for DeFi transactions surpasses the underlying blockchain capacity. Each blockchain has a block limit on the number of transactions recorded. When the number exceeds the limit, transaction creators have two options: increase their gas fee or allow more time to process their transactions. Therefore, the gas fee you will incur on a congested network will depend on your choice.
