There are hundreds of DeFi protocols out there running on various blockchains. Some are pretty popular, while others are mostly unknown. DeFi prime recognizes 225 DeFi protocols, with at least 204 built on the Ethereum network. Some of the most popular protocols include Aave, yEarn, Compound, Synthetix, Fantom, and PancakeSwap.
